Lindsay received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sports and Health Psychology from the University of Missouri- Columbia. Her graduate studies were at Northwestern Health Sciences University where she earned her Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine. Through this program, she studied Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Cupping, Moxibustion (the burning of a medicinal herb), Tui Na (Chinese energy massage), Gua Sha (dermal friction therapy), Chinese food therapy, and Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal. |
During her education at Northwestern, Lindsay had the chance to work at The Courage Center, The Salvation Army Harbor Lights, Perspectives Family Care Center, and The Aliveness Project. This gave her a wide variety of experience while treating patients suffering from brain and spinal cord injuries, various addictions, women’s health issues, and other various chronic conditions. Lindsay loves working with athletes and is specializing in sports acupuncture and the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
Lindsay is also a practitioner of Chinese Herbology and prescribes herbal formulas that can treat conditions such as acne, infertility, urinary tract infections, menstrual irregularities, insomnia, eczema, and much more!
In her free time Lindsay enjoys being outdoors, sports, music, reading, and travel!
